Feed or Fight….

I read this quote, and it really expanded my thinking up about nutrition even more…

Every time you eat something, you are either feeding the disease or fighting the disease.

The food choices we make every time we put something in our mouth is either promoting good health or making us sick! Why would we purposely poison our bodies like that?

Awareness is key. A simple quote like this one can  change your life. It only takes one thought that will cause you to take action to make necessary changes.

Be sure to monitor your protein, carbohydrate and fat intake. The best carbs are your green vegetables. Reach for these first!

I want to live a long healthy life, who doesn’t?

Love and hugs!

Susan

Looking Forward….

Your past has come and gone.

Learn from it, evaluate it…but don’t dwell in it.

Your past is part of you who are, it brought you to this day…TODAY.

You can reinvent yourself however you want.

You have a new day, a new hour to try something different.

It’s never too late to begin.

A New Year is upon us…you can make a fresh start on Jan 1st, but don’t forget you have opportunities to make a fresh start at anytime throughout the year.

Best wishes, health, journeys, adventures and new beginnings for your 2017!

Love and hugs,

Susan

Don’t Quit…

Start with you…

If you really want to love someone, start with you. Love yourself unconditionally. Look into the mirror, into your eyes, and say “I love you!” Accept yourself fully. You are unique and have great purpose in this lifetime.

If you really need to forgive someone, start with you. Forgive yourself for all the thoughts and actions that might not have reflected your true self. Get a sheet of paper, write down the things you are sorry you thought, said or did. Release it all and forgive yourself fully.

If you really want to make a difference, start with you. Work on changing your thoughts. Your thoughts go out to the universe, what you put out there comes back to you. Guard your thoughts, think positive, loving thoughts. The way you think will change the way you live. When you change the way you live you will make a difference in the lives of those around you.

If you really want a  healthier life, start with you. Evaluate your diet, incorporate exercise, and meditation. Stay with it, everyday. Exercise your willpower to make healthy choices. Don’t throw your power away by giving in to cravings, putting exercise off another day or deciding not to quiet your mind because you don’t have time. Make time for you!

If you really want to live on purpose, take action every day. Don’t let a day go by without doing the things you want to do.

Don’t quit….start with YOU!

Love and hugs,

Susan

Underestimate…

Don’t underestimate your true potential!

How often do we place limits on ourselves? Why do we allow doubt and fear to rule our lives?

It starts with our words. Words are powerful. Words can build us up and in a blink of an eye they can tear us down, just like that!

What would happen if you really poured out all of the love you have stored up in your heart?

How would you feel if you released all bitterness and freely forgave everyone and everything in your life?

If you truly opened your mind to all higher thoughts and creativity that lays dormant in your brain, how would your life be different?

What if your world only knew possibilities and great achievement? Life would look differently, wouldn’t it?

We all came into this world overflowing with so much PURPOSE and LOVE. What will it take to change your vocabulary to include “I CAN, I WILL!” and truly believe it?

We all have potential that is hidden deep inside us like a treasure waiting to be found and realized. Why not set it free? Why not be everything you can be and embrace every challenge that is set in front of you as a time to shine?

Change your perspective, choose powerful words to move you forward!

Do not underestimate who you are…what you can do by releasing all of yourself to be free and truly believe it with your whole heart and soul!

Love and hugs!

Life Patterns…

Have you ever reflected on your life to identify recurring patterns?

woman-163426_640

These patterns might be around decisions you made, or repeating issues with different people and relationships, or even about breaking a bad habit.  These patterns come with us from our childhood. When you reflect you will see some of the same problems you faced have repeated time and time again. You will also realize that you did the same thing to try to resolve it and got the same result each time.

So why do the same thing expecting a different result and it ends up the same way it did all of the other times?

To get different results become aware of those repeating patterns in your life . When the problem comes up again…take a different approach. Break your patterns by doing something different. If you do this, you begin to disrupt the patterns which will yield different results.

Hold your mirror up, and look deep into yourself. The problem you need to resolve is something you need to change within your own being. It’s easy to place blame on others, but it isn’t about others, it’s about you. It’s about the change you need to make for yourself in order for you to grow and take responsibility for your life.

Don’t do life the easy way. Challenge yourself everyday to think differently, have an open mind, change the way you do things. Make new patterns, blaze a new trail! Be in charge of your life!

Love and Hugs,

Susan

Application: Take time to reflect and see how many times the same problem reappears in your life. Take note. Think about why this problem keeps presenting itself to you. What do you need to do, what do you need to change, what will disrupt the problem when it reappears again and how will you break through to yield a different result?

Living on the Edge…

What is it that is holding you back from accomplishing something?

Maybe you are afraid to do public speaking?

Or meeting new people is hard for you to do.

What about sharing your ideas? Do you think people might not like them?

Possibly going new places makes you nervous.

Whatever it might be, do not let fear PARALYZE you. Take control of your life and face those fear head-on!

Live on the EDGE of today, every day! Do the things you THINK you can not do, because you fear you are not capable of doing them.

We all have fears that are woven into the fibers of our physical being. If you look at the flip side of this, we also have the POWER to overcome those fears.

Don’t give your POWER away! Use it to achieve anything you want out of life!

Live on the edge of today. Chip away at your fears until you are free. FREE to do whatever you want.

Living on the edge of today should inspire you to push your limits you have placed on yourself.

Take out your FEARS! Move from Fearful to Fearless!

Love and hugs,

Susan

Application:

  • Identify one of your fears. Put a plan in place to overcome the fear. You will need patience, because it might take some time to face those fears, BUT….don’t give up!
  • Identify your fears. Write why you are fearful. What makes you fearful? How can you overcome those fears? Describe how your life would be different if you moved beyond those fears.
  • Pray for courage to face your fears head-on.

Please Forgive Me…

We have all suffered hurt and pain from people in our lives, be it family, friends, co-workers, or whoever. I know have experienced and inflicted deep hurt and pain as a child, as a sibling, as a parent, as a friend, and as a co-worker. This deep-rooted pain is what trampled my self-confidence and caused me to question my self-worth.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean that what has happened to you is alright, but that you are willing to release the pain and bondage you feel to the people and situations that caused you so much pain.

Patience…

Body Renovation takes time and patience. It begins when you come to the realization that you want to make changes in your life. It will not happen a minute sooner. Something you see, hear, or experience will trigger your desire to bring about change.

I wasn’t aware of my body and what I was putting in it.
