The Choice is yours….

When the alarm goes off, you can keeping pressing the snooze alarm, dreading to get up to face the day….or you can get out of bed embrace the day and prepare yourself for a day of possibilities!

As you drive to work you can curse the driver in front of you, or cut some person off in traffic…or you can send positive thoughts to the drivers around you, let the person into traffic and be understanding.

You can skip breakfast and grab some donuts… or you have some healthy food choices ready to fuel your body, nutrition is key to a healthy body!

You can find excuses not to workout and exercise… or you can make exercise a priority and build muscle mass and strengthen your core.

You can sit on the couch and watch TV mindlessly… or you can get a book and learn something new, create your own adventure using the author’s words and expand your thinking!

You can lie and be dishonest and feel like you are getting what is owed to you…or you can act from an honest heart and lead with integrity with everything you do..

You can play the victim card and think that life is unfair… or you can change your thoughts, take accountability for your life and make things happen!

The reality is we have choices every day. No matter what, we are in control of the choices we make. We need to make good choices and taking action to realize our dreams. Without action you find yourself going nowhere fast!

Feed or Fight….

I read this quote, and it really expanded my thinking up about nutrition even more…

Every time you eat something, you are either feeding the disease or fighting the disease.

The food choices we make every time we put something in our mouth is either promoting good health or making us sick! Why would we purposely poison our bodies like that?

Awareness is key. A simple quote like this one can  change your life. It only takes one thought that will cause you to take action to make necessary changes.

Be sure to monitor your protein, carbohydrate and fat intake. The best carbs are your green vegetables. Reach for these first!

I want to live a long healthy life, who doesn’t?

What’s for Breakfast?

In the morning, do you eat breakfast or skip it?

It’s the most important meal to start your day!

Your body has been resting, as well as working maintaining bodily functions throughout the night. When you wake up, you need to consume healthy grains, fruit, and protein to get your energy geared up for the start of the day! It is best to eat within 30 minutes of waking.

If you skip breakfast or wait till later don’t expect get optimum results from your body. It’s like you have it in a “choke hold”  it needs energy to operate efficiently. If you think skipping meals helps with weight loss it doesn’t. It’s just plain cruel and unusual punishment for your body.

Love your body. Feed it. Water it. Work it. Rest it. Repeat!

HEALTHY

Healing your mind, heart and spirit. Your whole body needs to be in harmony to live a healthy life.

Exercise and eating right, getting proper nutrition is key in how your body performs. By eating a proper diet it provides the energy you need to support your body and the ability to get things done, mentally and physically to live a healthy life.

Align your thoughts and actions to create a plan that will get you off the couch, stop eating the junk food and get you motivated to make positive changes to live a healthy life.

Live each day as it was your last. Get outside, get your natural vitamin D from the sun. Let your body absorb the light. Try things you never did before, eat more organic foods. Live a healthy life.

Take care of your body. We only get one in a lifetime. It is our responsibility to take care of it. This is one thing we have control over. Feed it, Work it, Love it! Live a healthy life.

Happiness should fill every cell of your body. Choose the people, thoughts and things that make you happy. Live a healthy life. 

You have the choice to live a healthy life! Choose wisely.

I started my blog https://susanbodyrenovations.com/ because of my journey to become healthy. Eight years ago I decided it was time for me to live a healthy life. I needed to change my thoughts, lose some weight, get stronger, be more positive and change my diet. I’m so glad I did.
