A-C-T-I-O-N…

How do you approach life?

Do you forge ahead with confidence?  Do you take action on what you want and go after it?

OR…

Do you let life happen to you? Do you sit back and think …”someday”… ?

If you stay within your mind, thinking and expanding on ideas / changes you want to tackle, it will be easy to talk yourself out of doing something because it might seem too big, will take too much time, or you don’t have the resources you need to get started.

BUT if you take action to get clear with what it is want to do, you will realize those ideas / changes. I know you get all kinds of thoughts popping into your head. Try getting out of your head and write it down on paper. This is a good first step for you to develop your ideas / changes.

If you are passionate about your ideas / changes you will spend more time developing and creating it. If you aren’t as passionate about it, you will leave it behind and go explore the next thing. Take some action even if it is putting it on paper to explore.

Go chase after your dreams! Take ACTION!

Application: Start with a brain dump; write all your ideas on paper. Once you have written them down, look for natural groupings. Organize your groupings in an outline form. Assign dates to each group and take action on them. Get more information, talk to people to move your idea ahead!

  1. Great post! I have found myself thinking of what I think are amazing ideas but by the time I get around to implementing them I have talked myself out of those ideas. Thank you for your inspiring post.

    1. When we stay in our minds don’t give our hearts an opportunity to get in on the action. Once you have it on paper you put it out there….this is the best first step for taking action. Turn your ideas into reality! Glad you liked the post:)

  2. Great post. I will be doing that and since taking action and committing to my writing, I find that the step of taking the action was the most important step. I have had to rearrange, define and refine my goals, but I find excitement growing inside of me for finally doing something I love. Next, is my photography and when I drive (delivery for a living) I come up with great ideas. Will put a pad in the car so I can do this! Thanks for sharing…

  3. Great post and one I totally agree with. I’ve been keeping a Gratitude Diary for the past five years but now I realise I have to do more than that, creating every day goals and things to aim for. This hit home for me.

    1. The Gratitude Diary is a great one to keep. We have so much to be thankful each day and most people take things for granted. I think you will find writing down goals will drive results. I hope to hear more about your accomplishments. Chase after your dreams:)
