Living on the Edge…

What is it that is holding you back from accomplishing something?

Maybe you are afraid to do public speaking?

Or meeting new people is hard for you to do.

What about sharing your ideas? Do you think people might not like them?

Possibly going new places makes you nervous.

Whatever it might be, do not let fear PARALYZE you. Take control of your life and face those fear head-on!

Live on the EDGE of today, every day! Do the things you THINK you can not do, because you fear you are not capable of doing them.

We all have fears that are woven into the fibers of our physical being. If you look at the flip side of this, we also have the POWER to overcome those fears.

Don’t give your POWER away! Use it to achieve anything you want out of life!

Live on the edge of today. Chip away at your fears until you are free. FREE to do whatever you want.

Living on the edge of today should inspire you to push your limits you have placed on yourself.

Take out your FEARS! Move from Fearful to Fearless!

Love and hugs,

Susan

Application:

  • Identify one of your fears. Put a plan in place to overcome the fear. You will need patience, because it might take some time to face those fears, BUT….don’t give up!
  • Identify your fears. Write why you are fearful. What makes you fearful? How can you overcome those fears? Describe how your life would be different if you moved beyond those fears.
  • Pray for courage to face your fears head-on.

Motivational Monday – The Black Dot

This was posted by a fellow blogger and I wanted to share.

One day, a professor entered his classroom and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test. They all waited anxiously at their desks for the exam to begin. As usual, the professor handed out the exams with the text facing down. Once he handed them all out, he asked the students to turn over the papers. To everyone’s surprise, there were no questions–just a black dot in the center of the paper.

The professor, seeing the expression on everyone’s faces, told them the following “I want you to write about what you see there.” The students, confused, got started on the inexplicable task. At the end of the class, the professor took all the exams, and started reading each one of them out loud in front of the students. All of them, with no exception, defined the black dot, trying to explain its position in the center of the…

Giving Back…

Spring births new life and renews our joy in the beauty it provides.

Let’s face it…we get caught up in our day-to-day routine and we take things for granted. Some of the little things that are at our fingertips aren’t as easily accessible for others. We need to appreciate what we have in life and give thanks.

Take time to appreciate what you have in your life. Do something to give back…sort of “Pay it Forward” concept.

You might already be doing some of these, and if you have any other suggestions  please add a comment below.

  • Volunteer at your church, food bank, senior center or someplace you feel comfortable performing a service. You will make new connections and you never know what you might learn along the way.
  • Go through your closet and donate to Goodwill or some other organization. I know I constantly need to revisit my closet to donate items I no longer need.
  • Make a donation to a special charity or a fund-raiser. Intentions to do this are good, but it is easy to put it off; then it slips off your radar as something to do.
  • Express your gratitude to everyone who assists you in some fashion. “Thank you” goes a long way. Two words can change an attitude or make someone’s day.
  • Encourage a young person to dream big. Everyone needs encouragement to dare to reach for the stars. They could change the world if they achieve their dream.
  • Listen to others and what they have to say. Don’t worry about talking, truly listen to what the other person is saying.
  • Organize a food drive to collect food for your local food bank. See how much food you can collect to feed those in need.
  • Pray for those who are in need of prayer; include everyone. God bless the world!

When you open your heart you are allowing more abundance to flow back to you.

It has been an adventure in learning about taking photos, connecting with other Bloggers, being inspired viewing other’s photos (there are so many incredible, amazing photos everyone shared), increasing creativity and being disciplined to post assignments pretty much every day.

Thank you to everyone for your support along the way, it was very much appreciated.

Big Thank You..Happiness Engineer @pmciano

Photo101-Triumph & Contrast

The feature picture is a photo of Long’s Peak, a view from where I live. This was the 14er that I bagged back in August.

I look at that mountain every day and smile inside, knowing I was able to bag that summit. I pulled back on the photo below to give it some distance and contrast.

These two shots are of me during my workout. I never took a selfie photo using a timer on my camera before. This was a huge triumph for me!

I learned so much during this course.
